TRIFORM

The Triform line of Sheet Hydroforming Presses was developed in direct response to an unmet need in the marketplace for modern sheet hydroforming equipment.

In 2007, companies seeking these presses had limited choices: expensive new machines due to low competition or outdated used equipment from the 1950s–1970s with obsolete hydraulic systems, lack of support, and high transportation costs. Recognizing this gap, aerospace industry leader Pryer searched for a manufacturer capable of developing a modern alternative. This led them to Beckwood Press Company, a St. Louis-based expert in custom hydraulic presses and automation systems. Combining Beckwood’s engineering expertise with Pryer’s deep knowledge of sheet hydroforming, they created the first Triform press, which debuted at Fabtech 2008 in Las Vegas.

Since then, Beckwood has produced and delivered numerous advanced Fluid Cell and Deep Draw Triform presses to facilities worldwide, including in Mexico, India, China, South Africa, and the United States. Today, Triform presses are manufactured, sold, and supported by Beckwood from its headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. With continued production for both new and repeat customers, Triform has successfully filled a critical market gap. Its widespread adoption by the global forming community has made Triform Sheet Hydroforming one of the most significant manufacturing success stories of the past decade.
